Dales Well Dressing

Much of the Derbyshire Dales is situated within the beautiful White Peak area of the Peak District National Park, the second most visited national park in the world. Our main towns are Ashbourne, Bakewell, Buxton, Matlock and Wirksworth. As you would expect there are plenty of activities to suit your needs within the Derbyshire Dales
When I was a youngster the well dressings were confined to the original plague village of Eyam, with Youlgreave and Tissington the only other two of note. Now every village worth its salt has a well dressing week, so during the summer months you should be able to find something to see within the Derbyshire Dales.
