Serene Retreat ,Skin Care and Day Spa Centre in Ripley is the place to go, you can enjoy regular Spa Days either on your own or with a group of friends, you don’t need to wait for that special occasion to enjoy a Spa Day at these prices!   Serene Retreat is situated in the nearby town of Ripley which is less than 20miles away. Normally a Spa day such as this would cost you anywhere from £100 to £150 for each person. But you can have the luxury of being pampered for a whole day form as little as £25.00 each for bookings of four or more people.   I visited Serene Retreat today and was impressed by their professional and friendly approach. The business has been owned and run by Hannah Kerry for the last four years. Her dream was to create a Spa experience for individuals or groups of women that is a fraction of the cost of places such as Ragdale Hall or Centre Parks.     Hannah explained that they can provide a Spa Day for up to 10 women at a time, and for any age; great idea for that special teenager and her friends to celebrate a Birthday or passing their exams. It’s also a great excuse for yourself  to get together with your friends for a fun day out, taking time out of our busy lives to relax and be pampered.   The Spa Day can start anytime after 09.30am, and you can stay all day if you wish, Hannah explained that sometimes the women stay until 19.00 in the evening. On the ground floor there is a Jacuzzi ,Sauna and shower area. On the second floor there are  two treatment rooms and a nail and pedicure room. The treatment rooms have large massage couches imported from the USA; you don’t feel vulnerable on them like you so often do on some  massage couches. In one of the treatment rooms there is a Steam Room with water jets designed to stimulate the skin and improve the circulation.   There is a relaxation room for you to chill out in after you have had all your treatments, and Hannah and her staff give you plenty of time to do just that. Lunch can be provided at extra cost or you can  take your own food, refreshments are complimentary. Arrangements can be made for an evening Spa Experience for those who want to have an unusual night out with the girls. As well the use of all the Spa facilities you will receive a mini treatment of either a Manicure, Pedicure or Facial all for £25.00 — £30.00, depending on how many book.     Serene Retreat, Skin Care & Day Spa Centre is in a converted house on the Derby Road a few miles from the town centre of Ripley. To find it just take the A38 to Derby and take the Denby exit and head towards Ripley, it’s very easy to find.   There is easy parking and disabled access as well. So when you leave in the evening you don’t have to worry about anyone seeing you without your make-up on, you can just get in your car and drive home. I recommend that you get together a group of your friends, or plan a surprise day for some special in your life and give Serene Retreat a call now. Saturday and Sunday’s by special arrangement are available, but you need to be quick, but a week day or evening may be better for you.   I’m going to give my friends a ring now to arrange the Pamper Day at  Serene Retreat that I think we all so deserve!
