Members of the public and the emergency services have warmly welcomed it.   What is it?   · A Scheme that is benefits all who make use of it · Low tech data information system · Simple to use, but highly effective · The user updates as regularly as required · It’s FREE to the USER · It’s a life saver   How does it work? ·  A simple form is completed and placed in the bottle ·  The bottle is placed (usually) in the fridge ·  A sticker is placed on the outside of the fridge indicating the location of the bottle ·  Another sticker is stuck on the inside of the door to alert the “authorities” to the existence of the “MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE” The information is a potential life saver and can also accompany the patient to hospital if necessary.   Who can benefit from using it?   ·   Very much the same as MEDIC ALERT, anyone with a need and may need the emergency services.   What Information is held?   · As much, or a little as the user requires. e.g. there is space for next of kin, carer and anyone who the user cares for, say children or older relatives.   · Only the user holds the data, in their bottle. There is no Central Database ·  A scheme to benefit any user ·  Low tech info system ·  Simple to use, but highly effective ?
